Using garbanzo flour instead of wheat flour adds fiber and protein to this snack. You can find it in the natural foods section of your grocery store or online. For a nuttier crunch, try crushed whole-grain cereals in place of the breadcrumbs. Serve these “soldiers” with ranch dressing for dipping. If you don’t have seasoned breadcrumbs on hand, mix in 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning.
