  • 1 large onion, chopped.
  • 3 tablespoons butter.
  • 1 green pepper, chopped.


Fry the onion until brown and then add the tomatoes and green pepper. Cook for about 15 minutes, very slowly, and then add the meat and the seasonings. Add the stock and simmer, covered, for ½ hour. Then add the kraut and cook for 1 hour longer. Before serving, add the sour cream.
