  • 1 large cucumber
  • salt
  • salad oil
  • vinegar or white wine vinegar
  • chopped parsley<


Peel the cucumber thinly if wished and cut into thin slices. Place the slices on a dish and sprinkle with salt, cover, and let them remain for 1–2 hr. Drain well, dish up on small glass dishes, season with a little salad oil and vinegar. Sprinkle parsley over and serve.
