  • ½ pt. white sauce
  • 2–4 oz. mushrooms
  • ½–1 oz.


Cook the thinly sliced mushrooms very gently in the butter for 15–20 min. Stir the mushrooms with the butter and their juice into the hot sauce.

Serve with fish and meat entrées, poultry, etc.
