  • Bones, giblets or trimmings of game cold water to cover
  • 1 bay leaf thyme
  • 1 clove


Make stock from the above ingredients. Drain all the fat from the roasting-tin and rinse the tin with the game stock, using no flour. Boil the gravy and skim it.
