Quick Method

  • ½ pt. canned tomato juice
  • 1heaped teasp. arrowroot
  • 1


Blend the arrowroot with a little cold juice. Slice the onion and simmer it for 10 min. in the juice. Stir in the blended arrowroot and boil it for a minute. Season the sauce, add nutmeg, a few drops of lemon juice and sugar to taste. Strain the sauce.
