    • 4 medium-sized hake steaks
    • flour
    • salt and pepper
    • 1 teasp. finely c

    Method

    Wipe the steaks and place them side by side in a greased baking-dish. Dredge well with flour, season with salt and pepper, sprinkle over the parsley and onion and add the butter in small pieces. Bake gently for ½ hr., basting occasionally, then place the fish on a hot dish, strain the liquor over it and serve.
