Ingredients

  • 2 crabs
  • salt
  • cayenne pepper
  • powdered mace
  • about 4

Method

Pick the crab meat from the shells, mix with salt, cayenne and mace to taste, rub through a fine sieve. Press into small pots, cover with melted butter and bake in a moderate oven (350° F., Gas 4) for ½ hr. When cold, cover each pot with clarified butter.
