Ingredients

  • 6 large onions
  • frying fat
  • salt and pepper

Method

Peel and slice the onions. Heat enough frying fat in a frying-pan to cover the bottom of the pan. Fry the onions slowly until golden brown and quite soft, stirring them occasionally during frying. Drain well, season and serve hot.
