Method

Beat the egg whites stiffly in a large bowl. Cream the butter and sugar. Add the ground almonds and mix well together. Fold into the egg whites and mix to a smooth paste. When the mixture begins to get stiff put it into a large bag with a plain pipe. Place the rice paper or greaseproof paper on a baking-sheet and pipe small drops about 2 in. apart.
