For Pies, Tarts, etc

  • ½ lb. plain flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 oz.


Sift together the flour and salt. Rub the butter and lard lightly into the flour, using the fingertips. Mix to a stiff paste with cold water. Use as required.
