Toast slices of white or brown bread, and cut into small rounds—1½–2 in. diameter. Cover with butter, and small rounds of ham. Beard the oysters and put on the ham, season well, put a small knob of butter on each and bake in a hot oven (425° F., Gas 7) for about 3 min. until the butter has melte
