A recipe remembered from my childhood, one of the first dishes I ever cooked. This can also be made with chicken mini fillets (tenderloins) - you’ll need about ten of them. A green salad makes a nice accompaniment.

Ingredients

  • 4 skinless chicken breast fillets
  • 100 g (3½ oz) salted butter, softened
  • 1 large garlic clove</

Method

  • Bash the chicken breasts inside a plastic bag or between two sheets of baking paper until they are only 6 mm (¼ inch) thick.

Um, 1/4” is more like 6mm. 2-3 mm is not even 1/8” thick.
