Beastars focuses on the students of Cherryton Academy, where the anthropomorphic animal characters go to school. Here, carnivores and herbivores coexist peacefully—until an herbivore is killed. Here’s a delicious vegetarian option for donuts, inspired by the herbivore menu in the Cherryton Academy cafeteria. This is one of my favorite recipes in this book: it’s easy, it doesn’t require kneading, and it’s highly satisfying. I urge everyone to try it. Be ready to eat more than one!
