Strawberry Brick Toast

Food appears so rarely in Attack on Titan, and when it does, it’s often European-style cuisine—like meat and potatoes or . . . you know, other meaty forms of protein. That’s why I was surprised to see the brick toast in this episode. Brick toast is popular in Asia, though you can find it at some dessert tea shops in North America. It’s a fun dessert that offers different tastes and textures: crunchy toast, soft ice cream, and sweet strawberries.
