  • About

‘The strange name given to this dish is attributed to the commonly known fact that a good Italian priest loves good food. Indeed, one such Neapolitan priest is said to have loved gnocchi so much that he choked when he ate too much too fast! There are a variety of different recipes bearing this name throughout the Italian regions, some for potato gnocchi, some for pasta, and in the north, for bread dumplings.’
