“In selected bars in Torino and Piedmont there is always a series of tramezzini, very elegant little sandwiches of white bread with various fillings. What I remember best is the tramezzino con capricciosa, a salad of two raw vegetables and one preserved one, with a heavenly sauce.”
Assemble all the cut vegetables in a bowl, and sprinkle with lemon juice. Mash the tuna with a fork, add to the mayonnaise and mix well. Add the mayonnaise to the vegetables and mix thoroughly. Season to taste.
