Method

Preheat the oven to 200°C/Gas 6. Cut the pasta into 15cm square sheets for lasagne.

Melt half the butter in a saucepan, stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute, then add the milk gradually, stirring all the time, to make a smooth sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
