  • About

“In my limited time in Austria, I learned to appreciate various aspects of Germanic culture. Among other things, I become more punctual and more precise – as an Italian I needed to! Regarding food, I appreciated everything that tasted good. This recipe reminds me of Hamburg, but herrings are popular in Trentino and prepared similarly.”

Ingredients

  • 8-12 small potatoes, peeled
  • salt
  • 1 crisp, green dessert apple
  • fillets of

Method

Cook the potatoes in boiling salted water until just tender, then drain. Thinly slice the apple.
