  • 4 small, white, tender heads of celery, or 2 medium-sized ones
  • salt and pepper
  • 60 g butter, melted, plus extra

Method

Preheat the oven to 200°C/Gas 6.

Cut the tops off the celery so that you have hearts of 15cm long. Cut these in half and boil them in salted water for 8 minutes. Drain and arrange them next to one another on a buttered baking tray.
