Simple Apple Tart

This pretty tart is remarkably easy and makes a great last-minute dessert, as long as you keep some puff pastry in your freezer and a couple of apples in the fridge. The edge of the puff pastry rises above the apple mixture, creating a frame to keep in the juices. Still, use a rimmed baking sheet in case some of the yummy syrup leaks out.
