Hot Rum and Cider

• 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature
• 1½ tablespoons maple sugar
• 4 long

Cream the butter with the sugar and set aside.

Stud 2 cloves in each strip of orange. In each glass or mug, place the zest, cinnamon stick and an ounce of rum. Pour in 4 to 5 ounces of hot cider and top with a little butter mixture.
