Caprese Salad

Featuring the colors of the Italian flag—red, green, and white—this salad is as beautiful as it is delicious. Slices of ripe tomato alternate with creamy Fresh Mozzarella and fresh basil leaves, and balsamic vinegar and extra-virgin olive oil are drizzled over the top. It doesn’t get any easier—or any better! When this salad is sandwiched between two slices of bread, it becomes a caprese sandwich; try it with a little pesto spread on the bread.
