These tasty burgers with a Southwestern flavor are great either on or off a bun. You can cook them in a skillet or in the oven. If you’d like to grill them, it’s best to bake them first to help keep them from falling apart. For the same reason, it’s best to bake them first if you’d like to store them to serve later (see notes).
