Method

Two pounds of boiled rice, with one pound of chopped suet; mix in a pan with four eggs, ten teaspoonfuls of flour; moisten with five pints of water, or skim-milk; add one pound of sugar and a teaspoonful of salt; bake about one hour. To vary it, a few Smryna rasins may be added. Apples, or any dry fruit, may be used, previously soaked as No. 243.
