This pancake serves as the base for squab, but goes well with any poultry dish and is the perfect bottom layer for many stir-fries. Kids especially will enjoy eating it alone.

Ingredients

  • Salt
  • ¾ pound thin fresh egg noodles (lo mein)
  • ¼ cup minced chives

Method

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and salt it. Add the noodles and cook for 3 minutes. Drain, rinse under cold water, and drain again.
