Key lime pie is an extremely underrated pie. I can already hear everyone uttering under their breaths that it’s a popular pie and definitely not underrated. But not everyone lives near the Florida Keys or is Florida-adjacent, okay?

This Calamansi pie bar is our version of a Key lime pie and a perfect dessert after a rich, hearty Texas barbecue feast. We substituted calamansi for Key limes, which are a small citrus native to Southeast Asia and particularly popular in the Philippines.
