For a more filling version of the fritters the flowers can be filled with a savoury stuffing.

Ingredients

  • 6 oz/175 g grated parmesan
  • 2 oz/60

Method

Mix all the ingredients together. Spoon the mixture carefully into the flowers, tucking over the petal tops so it won’t escape, then follow the previous recipe for simple flower fritters. Serve hot.
