Indonesian sates of beef or chicken usually are served with a spicy peanut sauce. This one can also be adapted to make a wonderful spread to put on sandwiches. It’s particularly good with cooked beef, chicken, and pork (see Roast Loin of Pork in Ginger Marinade). Cucumbers are a traditional accompaniment. The choice of bread is yours.
