This is my take on the classic Indonesian peanut sauce. It’s wonderful with grilled chicken, flank steak, and lamb chops. We also eat it with a spoon.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted smooth peanut butter
  • cup finely chopped dry-roasted peanuts

Procedure

Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan and bring it gradually to a boil, stirring often. Reduce the heat and simmer 2 minutes to blend. Whisk constantly to prevent scorching. This sauce will keep refrigerated for about 1 week.
