Ingredients

  • ½ cup rendered bacon fat
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, finely minced

Method

Procedure

Melt the bacon fat in a large sauté pan or skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and cook until translucent, about 10 minutes. Add the garlic and stir. Then add the greens by handfuls, stirring after each handful until wilted. (If necessary, add a few tablespoons water to the pan.) Season to taste with salt and pepper.
