Another winter chutney. This is good with baked ham or pork chops. And it adds a little zip to Thanksgiving turkey.
Combine the onions, garlic, ginger, and some of the vinegar in the container of a food processor and purpuréee. Transfer to a deep stainless steel or enameled cast-iron kettle and add all the remaining ingredients except the raisins. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer until thickened, about 45 minutes. Add the raisins during the last 10 minutes of cooking time. Pac
