Brandied Cherries

• 24 cherries, pitted
• ¼ cup sugar
• ¼ cup kirsch</

Procedure

Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Let cool, transfer to a covered container, and let macerate 3 days at room temperature.
