This Venetian dessert needs no introduction. By now there is not an Italian restaurant in Italy or the United States that hasn’t served tiramisù. The name means “pick-me-up.” It will. It is also surprisingly easy to make; you can serve it at home and not ever have to order it again. Or, if you do, compare the restaurant version to yours and smile that knowing smile.
