  • 1 pound dried black Mission figs
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ½ cup



Rinse the figs in warm water. Remove the stems and blossom ends of the figs. Cut the figs into quarters and place them in a medium saucepan with the remaining ingredients. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until the figs are soft and perfumed with the spices, about 15 minutes.
