Everyone loves a crispy cake – and this is a grown-up version for adults to enjoy. It looks utterly kitsch but everyone who I have served this to just loves the combination of rich cream with the crunchy marshmallow crispy base and ripe berries. For the best flavour, use berries that are in season, and better yet pick them fresh from your garden or nearest obliging hedgerow.
