This cake is a perfect party centrepiece for those who do not have much time. You can prepare the ice cream centre in advance and then just assemble the cake shortly before serving. As the cake contains ice cream you need to serve it quickly before it starts to melt. You can top with any sweets you like – chocolate candies work well but multi-coloured jelly beans would also look fun!
