The name says it all. This bread has been popular since we began baking it in 1993. The organic eight-grain mix that we purchase has rye, wheat, corn, oats, barley, millet, rice, and flax in it. The honey adds a touch of sweetness to the bread, and rolling it in sunflower seeds gives it a great nutty and crunchy quality. While it’s a sourdough bread, the sour flavor is mildly complementary in this popular bread. And it’s arguably very healthy, since it’s full of unrefined grains.
