My friend Gary Peese from Austin, Texas, discovered this cake when he was vacationing at Anacapri in the Bay of Naples. It is similar to the popular torta caprese (a chocolate walnut cake that I gave a recipe for in Chocolate), but uses white chocolate, almonds, and a lemon flavoring. It is a specialty of the restaurant Materita on the island.
