Ingredients: 200 g plain flour; 150 ml double cream; 40 g unsalted butter, softened and diced; 175 g unsalted butter, softened, plus more for the tin; 100 g 50-60% cocoa solids chocolate, finely chopped; chocolate, broken into pieces; 275 g dark muscovado sugar; 1 tsp vanilla extract; 3 eggs, lightly beaten; 2 tbsp dark muscovado sugar; 90 g 50-60% cocoa solids; 100 g ground almonds; 1 tsp baking powder; 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda; 1 tbsp golden syrup; 150 ml buttermilk
