I love this unusual cone-shaped cake. I know someone who once used a traffic cone to make it... not to be encouraged! It is very easy, though fairly messy. Try to make this in the cooler months, when working with chocolate and making chocolate leaves is so much easier.

Make the cone. The centre of the long side of the cardboard is to be its tip. Twist the cardboard around, tape very firmly into place and cut the base flat; your cone should be about 35cm high and 20cm in diameter. Very lightly butter the inside and line with clingfilm. Stand it upside down in a suitable stable container, such as a large vase.
