Method

  1. Sift together the flour, confectioners’ sugar, and cocoa powder.
  2. In a mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream together butter and shortening until light and fluffy, about 4 minutes.
  3. Add the dry ingredients and mix until homogenous, about 1 minute.
  4. Remove from the mixer, and wrap the dough in plastic. Refrigerate until needed.
