Method

  1. Combine the flour, cornmeal, and salt.
  2. Cream together the butter and sugar with the paddle attachment, starting on low speed and increasing to medium speed, scraping down the bowl periodically, until smooth and light in color, about 5 minutes. Add the egg yolks gradually, a few at a time, scraping down the bowl and blending until smooth after each addition.
