Method

  1. Combine the frozen blueberries and the sugar in a small bowl. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap, place over a hot water bath on a low flame, and steam for 15 minutes.
  2. Remove the pan from the heat. Drain the blueberries and reserve the juice. Place the blueberries into a blender and blend until smooth. Add the pureed blueberries to the reserved juice.
