  1. Toast the cumin seeds in a small dry sauté pan until they are dark brown and their full flavor develops. Grind using a spice grinder.
  2. Combine the cumin, Superpomme, sugar, cider, butter, and vanilla powder in a small sauce-pot and bring to a gentle simmer.
  3. Simmer for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
