Method

Coat the muffin tins with a light film of fat or use appropriate paper liners.
Sift together the flours and baking powder.
Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and salt with the paddle attachment on medium speed, scraping down the bowl periodically, until the mixture is smooth and light in color, about 5 minutes. Blend in the crème fraîche.
