Method

  1. For the dough: In the bowl of a mixer fitted with the dough hook attachment, add all ingredients except the butter, and mix on low speed until combined, about 30 seconds.
  2. Slowly add the butter in small pieces, and mix on medium speed for about 8 minutes, until the dough is smooth and homogeneous, making sure to scrape and flip the dough about halfway through.</
