  • 3 heads of garlic
  • 60 g ( oz) demi-sel (lightly salted) butter


Slice the top off the heads of garlic. Place a pat of butter on each head, scatter with herbes de Provençe and fresh thyme leaves. Place the top back on the garlic.

Wrap each head of garlic in foil. Place over gentle heat for 15 minutes. Serve alongside barbecued meat.
