These are actually made with cultivated blueberries but they are indeed wildly blue and delicious. Something about a rustic bagel dough as a holding pen for pudgy purple blueberries is fantastic to both behold and eat.

  • cups warm water
  • teaspoons instant yeast

Method

Stack two baking sheets together and line the top one with parchment paper.

In a mixer bowl, whisk together the water and yeast and allow to stand 2-3 minutes. Briskly whisk in the oil, honey, salt and a cup of the flour. Add more flour and begin kneading.
