  • 430 g (2 cups) caster sugar

Method

  1. Combine the sugar and 500ml (2 cups) water in a saucepan. Stir over low heat until the sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil. Remove from the heat.
  2. Use straightaway or keep in an airtight container or jar in the fridge for up to 1 month.
